In 1982 I started a career in law enforcement. I went to work for the Lufkin Police Department. Later, when I joined the Military, I also worked for the Leesville Police Department. In September of 2019 I decided to go back through the police academy to reinstate my license in Texas. 6 Months later, I graduated the East Texas Police Academy for the second time, just 35 years later. Since getting my license back, I was commissioned by the Kendall County Fire Marshal's Office. Going back to school again, I received my TCOLE Instructor's Certification and my TCOLE Firearms Instructor Certificate.
